One in Ten

"Where are the other nine?"

You can cry out to God and get your blessing...BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS. He will hear you and He will heal you.

But God doesn't want to stop at healing you of your sickness...He wants to deliver you from your sins. But sometimes...it's a two fold process.

And grab a hold to this...that isn't for God's sake. He can heal and deliver in the blink of an eye. But God loves us too much not to teach us how to love Him. So even though we can't EARN our salvation...we do have to WORK it out.

God will set us up for our healing...but we have to remember to come back to Him to send up some praises to get our deliverance.

God will give us what we ask of Him because of WHO HE IS...He will give us what we need because of WHO OUR FAITH IS IN.

Don't have Jesus asking "Where are the other nine" about YOU!

Luke 17:12-19 NIV

As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”  

When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.  

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.  

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?  Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 

Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
